Early Life and Education
Lee Jae-wook grew up in a supportive family alongside an older sister (born 1995). He is kinda raised in a typical middle-class household as his father is a businessman and his mother a homemaker. He is really good at basketball during middle and high school (Hanam High School). Originally he is dreaming of a sports career (now *187 cm).
After all, he developed a love on storytelling through movies. Lee seem often watching classics like The Godfather with his family. And then in Chung-Ang University (prestigious institution) he choose major in Theater and Film. Initially he know nothing about acting at all, and then he took a gap year after high school to explore his interests. What he find interesting is working as a part-time at a convenience store and also an intern at an entertainment agency.
Because all of the above, he was scouted by Varo Entertainment during his first semester. And finally landing his career before he graduated (Instead he is still having a degree as of 2025).
